International students: applying for a room in a University Residence

Fill in this form to apply for a room in one of the university residences in the academic year of 2026-2027.

How does the allocation process work?

When assigning the rooms in our university residences, the demand is always larger than the offer. Therefore, a selection must be made.

There is no 'first come, first served' principle, so the time at which you apply for a room does not affect your chances of staying at a residence. In order to give as many different students as possible a chance to stay in our residences, the university selects students with the sole purpose of making a mix that is as diverse as possible. Diversity is found in mixing as many different home universities, fields of study and faculties as possible.

Exchange students who will be enrolled at UAntwerp for only 1 semester (5 months), will have priority.

When there is an (i) next to a question, you can find more info about the question by hovering over the icon.

Mandatory fields are marked with an *.

You can only fill out one application, so please make sure to do so carefully. Double check your information before submitting your application, to make sure everything is correct.
